From the collection of the County of Alameda, commissioned by the Alameda County Arts Commission, Gina created four stained glass mosaic wall hangings that are on display at Highland Hospital in Oakland, California.

Commissioned to design mosaics that represent the people and landscape of Alameda County, Gina chose succulents as her subject for each wall hanging. Across the seasons, succulents are resilient like the people of Alameda County. They can weather a drought and hard times; they come in a variety of colors, shapes, sizes. When blended together, they create a beautiful bouquet and celebration of life.

The curve of the flower pot, the linear background, and the medallions found in each mosaic give continuity across the wall hangings.

Glass beads, iridized stained glass, and a variety of shapes and sizes of glass enhance texture and provide movement within each of the four mosaics.
